Core Enforcer
The Enforcer is the only Level 1 surface ship with anti-submarine weaponry. Its medium plasma cannon and armor are strong by Level 1 standards. With the appearance of Level 2 Cruisers, your Enforcers should be reassigned to escort your more expensive capital ships.
